Opening the event, TM Roh, President and Head of Samsung’s Device eXperience (DX) Division, emphasized the company’s leadership in artificial intelligence, highlighting that Samsung’s extensive, connected, and AI-powered ecosystem enables truly meaningful AI companion experiences in everyday life. According to Roh, this approach goes beyond basic technology functions, allowing users to enjoy more intuitive and personalized moments throughout their daily routines.

Samsung’s vision centers on delivering a unified and personalized experience across mobile devices, displays, home appliances, and services. With AI deeply integrated into all product categories, the company aims to redefine how users interact with technology on a daily basis.

ENTERTAINMENT COMPANION

SW Yong, President and Head of Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics, together with Sukhmani Mohta, Chief Marketing and Partnerships Officer of Samsung Electronics America’s Visual Display Business, presented Samsung’s next-generation display solutions designed to serve as true entertainment companions. Building on two decades of leadership in the TV industry, Samsung introduced a comprehensive lineup of AI-powered televisions that transform how users interact with screens.

At the center of this lineup is the 130-inch Micro RGB display, representing a major leap in both size and picture quality. Featuring the widest and most detailed color spectrum ever seen on a Samsung TV, the Micro RGB display ushers in a new era of visual performance. Its Timeless Frame design minimizes distractions, while independently illuminated red, green, and blue micro-diodes deliver exceptionally pure and natural colors. Powered by the Micro RGB AI Engine Pro, the display offers precise color control and vivid image quality in every scene.

Enhancing the viewing experience further, Samsung introduced the Vision AI Companion (VAC), an AI-driven system that acts as a complete entertainment companion throughout the home. VAC provides personalized recommendations on what to watch, eat, or listen to, expanding the TV experience far beyond traditional viewing.

Samsung also presented intelligent personalization modes, including AI Soccer Mode Pro, which optimizes picture and sound for a stadium-like football experience, and AI Sound Controller Pro, allowing users to adjust crowd noise, commentary, or background music. Voice commands are seamlessly executed across all VAC-enabled TVs, including Micro LED, Micro RGB, OLED, Neo QLED, Mini LED, and UHD models.

The entertainment ecosystem is further expanded through multi-device functionality, enabling recipe discovery from on-screen content and seamless sharing across connected devices, including the newly introduced The Movingstyle, designed for easy movement throughout the home.

Samsung reaffirmed its leadership in audio technology, marking its 11th consecutive year as the global soundbar market leader. The company introduced two new Wi-Fi speakers, Music Studio 5 and 7, featuring a timeless design by renowned designer Erwan Bouroullec and enhanced integration within Samsung’s audio-visual ecosystem.

Additional highlights include the ultra-slim OLED S95H, designed with gallery-like elegance, and the portable Samsung The Freestyle+, which uses VAC to project content on walls, ceilings, and unconventional surfaces. Samsung’s 2026 TV lineup also supports HDR10+ ADVANCED and introduces Eclipsa Audio, a new spatial audio system available across all 2026 models.

For gamers and creators, Samsung unveiled its most advanced Odyssey gaming monitor lineup to date, led by the world’s first 6K 3D Odyssey G9, pushing the boundaries of resolution, refresh rates, and immersive visuals.

At the heart of these innovations is the most powerful Tizen OS yet, with Samsung committing to seven years of Tizen OS upgrades to ensure long-term value for users.

HOME COMPANION

Cheolgi Kim, Executive Vice President and Head of Digital Appliances Division, alongside Elizabeth Anderson from Samsung Electronics America, presented Samsung’s vision of transforming home appliances into intelligent home companions that reduce everyday stress. Kim revealed that SmartThings now serves over 430 million users globally as of December 2025, providing Samsung with unparalleled insights into user needs.

These insights are brought to life through the AI-powered Family Hub refrigerator, now enhanced with AI Vision technology based on Google Gemini. The system accurately tracks food items, simplifies meal planning, and helps reduce food waste. Family Hub refrigerators have earned 10 CES Innovation Awards to date, with Samsung AI refrigerators receiving recognition for three consecutive years.

New features such as “What’s for Today?”, SmartThings Food, Video to Recipe, and FoodNote further streamline meal planning and cooking, while Voice ID and Now Brief personalize content for each family member.

Samsung also introduced upgraded Bespoke AI Laundry solutions, the Bespoke AI AirDresser with Auto Wrinkle Care, and the Bespoke AI Jet Bot Steam Ultra robotic vacuum, which features advanced liquid detection, home monitoring capabilities, and enhanced voice control via Bixby. These innovations have also been recognized with CES Innovation Awards.
