Two national and one international dog show were held in Novi Grad, bringing together exhibitors and dog owners from 19 countries.

Radovan Mazalica, President of the Kennel Club of Republika Srpska, said that the Novi Grad show has a long tradition and continues to maintain high standards.

– When it comes to cynology, Novi Grad is a recognizable place in Europe. We are satisfied with the number of participants and the quality of the dogs – Mazalica said. He also serves as Chairman of the Kennel Club of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Opening the event, Deputy Mayor Bojan Lukač emphasized that the Municipal Administration supports the work of the Novi Grad Kennel Club as well as the organization of the show.

– Cynology is not just a hobby; it is culture, discipline, and an inseparable friendship between humans and dogs – Lukač stated.

Judges from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, North Macedonia, Slovenia, and Turkey evaluated 246 dogs competing in 10 FCI groups, as well as in the group of non-recognized breeds.

A total of 174 dog owners from 19 countries took part in the event, confirming its strong international character.

The shows were organized by the Kennel Club of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Kennel Club of Republika Srpska, and the Novi Grad Kennel Club.
