CENTRAL INFORMATION SYSTEM IN HOSPITALITY LAUNCHED IN THE REPUBLIC OF SRPSKA

Registration of users of the Central Information System in hospitality began on January 1 in the Republic of Srpska, which will enable the Tourism Organization to have an accurate number of tourists in Srpska at any moment.

The Central Information System enables the registration of hospitality facilities, guests, and tourist taxes, thereby ensuring better control, reliable statistics, and more efficient collection of public revenues, said Sanela Šimun, Public Relations Associate at the Tourism Organization.

She stated that hospitality providers can access the system via a provided link.

“Access is free for all hospitality providers who offer accommodation services, and through this system — in addition to better insight into statistical indicators — transparency and fiscal discipline are strengthened, and activities to combat the grey economy are improved,” Šimun emphasized.
