Through engaging workshops, the association introduces elementary school students to the art of weaving and handicrafts, emphasizing the value of quality time spent away from screens.

Marija Ivanović, project coordinator and representative of the "Eva" Women's Association, confirmed the success of the initiative to "Nezavisne novine," noting the overwhelming interest from participants.

"The '120 Minutes Without Internet' project officially commenced on January 1st, with project preparation, followed by the start of workshops in February. February and March are dedicated to weaving workshops, while April will focus on educating children about healthy eating habits, encouraging them to swap snacks for fruit-based snacks. In May and June, students will delve into decoupage techniques," Ivanović explained, highlighting the diverse curriculum.

She emphasized that the project caters to children aged five to 15 years old, with 35 participants in the weaving workshops, exceeding the initial estimate of 15 attendees.

As part of the association's ongoing efforts, Ivanović encouraged new members to join the cause, emphasizing the welcoming nature of the organization, which currently boasts around 30 active members.

The "120 Minutes Without Internet" project not only promotes traditional skills but also fosters a sense of community and offline engagement among the younger generation, enriching their overall experience beyond the digital realm.
