A TRIBUTARY OF THE RIVER FORMED BY SPRINGS OF POTABLE WATER

The Kobiljka River is a left tributary of the Ugra River. It stretches for about five kilometers, originating from several sources, the most famous being Srebrenik, which springs from the southeastern slopes of the hill of the same name.

The area around this peak is exceptionally rich in strong sources of drinkable water, from which streams of the Ugra and Vrbas basins begin to flow.

Among the numerous smaller tributaries, the most significant right tributary is Vukovica, while the left ones include Strašivi and Zlovarski streams. All these streams merge into the Kobiljka.

Near the village of Gornji Ćoralići, the Kobiljka River enters a deep but short canyon, after which it flows through a valley between slopes containing a series of hamlets collectively known as Kobilja and Imljanski osoja.
