“KREATIVNI AVGUST” BRINGS FREE CREATIVE WORKSHOPS FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE

Painting, guitar lessons, animated film, breakdancing, Argentine tango and many other activities are part of the free programme of the “Kreativni avgust” (Creative August) festival, taking place from August 10 to 22, every day except Sunday, from 6 to 8 p.m.

The festival has been organised by the “Zdravo da ste” Youth Centre for 22 years, with the aim of offering children and young people meaningful free-time activities, helping them gain new knowledge, discover their talents and develop their skills.

Mladen Stojanović Park Becomes a Hub of Creativity

During the festival, Mladen Stojanović Park will become a gathering place for music, art, dance, games and socialising, with workshops, exhibitions, talks and numerous creative challenges awaiting participants.

“Kreativni avgust” offers children and young people the opportunity to explore, create, learn and meet new people, while the entire programme is free of charge, the organisers said.

A Wide Range of Workshops and New Skills

The festival programme includes painting workshops for children and young people, an animated film school, comic drawing, guitar lessons, African percussion, Argentine tango and psychological and educational workshops.

The programme is designed so that everyone can find something that suits their interests, regardless of previous experience or skill level.

A Creative Finale

The festival will conclude with a presentation of the work created by participants over the two weeks, once again showing how much creativity, knowledge and positive energy can be brought together through a summer of learning and socialising.
