HOW TO RECOGNIZE BEER QUALITY?

All beers have four basic ingredients: water, hops, malt, and yeast. The specific aroma and bitterness come from hops, and today there are various types available, including those made with whale testicles, squid ink, peanut butter, or marshmallow-flavored.

HOW TO RECOGNIZE BEER QUALITY?
There are about 400 types of beer today, with the basic division being into ales and lagers. The difference between them lies in the fermentation process: ales are produced at higher temperatures, while lagers are produced at lower temperatures.

Beer quality can also be recognized by its foam, which should be dense and last for at least three minutes.

Additionally, foam preserves the beer's aroma and acts as a kind of thermal insulation between the beer and the environment, preventing it from warming up.
Even today, there is a debate about what kind of glass to serve beer in, with science even getting involved.

Scientific studies suggest that the shape of the glass significantly affects how the foam develops and persists, with the best glasses being: steins, pints, tulip glasses, and snifters, writes Danas in its "beer lover's guide."
