Why have members of Generation Z become key drivers of social change, and how are these transformations unfolding? These are the central questions that will be addressed at a panel discussion scheduled for February 26 at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Banja Luka.
The
discussion, titled “Gen Z as a Driver of Social Change,” will bring together
students and experts from various fields to examine the growing influence of
young people on contemporary social trends.
The
event will take place in Amphitheater 203 at 5 p.m., gathering students of the
University of Banja Luka, representatives of the student movement in Serbia, as
well as lawyer Aleksandar Jokić, activist Aleksandar Žolja and journalist
Ljupko Mišeljić.
According to the organizers, a group of students from Banja Luka, the idea behind the panel is to present diverse perspectives on the causes, mechanisms and effects of Generation Z’s impact on society.
“It is
a fact that 2025 has been marked worldwide by movements for social change, and
young people have initiated and led them everywhere. We want to analyze this
phenomenon from different angles — not only activist, but also sociological,
legal and media-related. It will be an open conversation about the potential of
Generation Z and the challenges it faces, and we hope to see a large turnout of
visitors from all backgrounds and age groups,” the organizers stated.
Admission
to the event is free, and no prior registration is required.
