The Art School "Vlado Milošević" in Banja Luka marked its 90th anniversary with a jubilee concert, celebrating nearly a century of dedication to music and education.
The event featured performances by the school’s students and teachers, with violin soloist Lana Zorjan as a special guest. The program showcased some of the most beautiful works of classical music, creating an unforgettable evening.
"This was a significant night where music and tradition merged into a memorable experience, just as the organizers promised," said Nevena Blagojević-Podrić, head of the Department for Culture, Social Welfare, Citizens' Associations, and Religious Communities. She accepted a certificate of appreciation on behalf of the City of Banja Luka for its longstanding support of the school.
Damir Jovanić, director of the Art School "Vlado Milošević," highlighted the institution's ongoing mission to advance music education in Banja Luka and expand its capacity.
"In the past school year alone, our students and teachers held numerous concerts and achieved outstanding success at national and international competitions, winning 178 first prizes," Jovanić noted.
He emphasized that these achievements reflect the hard work and dedication of the school’s faculty and students, who strive to represent the school, the city of Banja Luka, and the Republika Srpska in the best possible light.
The jubilee concert was a testament to the school’s rich history and its role in nurturing musical talent and preserving cultural traditions for future generations.
