OZREN MEAT FESTIVAL GATHERS MORE THAN 60 TEAMS AND THOUSANDS OF VISITORS

The third edition of the Ozren Meat Festival was held in Tekućica, bringing together more than 60 competing teams and 30 exhibitors from Republika Srpska, Serbia, and Croatia.

Once again, the festival confirmed its status as one of the most important gastronomic events on Mount Ozren, attracting a large number of visitors who enjoyed a rich selection of local specialties, traditional music, and socializing in a beautiful natural setting.

Promoting Local Products and Tradition

Special emphasis was placed on the promotion of local production, traditional recipes, and the customs of the region. Exhibitors showcased a variety of meat products, as well as other authentic delicacies, making the festival an important platform for promoting local producers and the tourism potential of the Ozren area.

The event brought together participants from three countries, strengthening connections through gastronomy, culture, and the shared preservation of tradition.

A Blend of Great Food, Music, and Hospitality

Excellent food, a diverse entertainment program, and warm hospitality marked this year's edition of the festival. Visitors had the opportunity to enjoy specialties prepared by competing teams while also discovering products presented by local exhibitors.

The festival was officially opened by Doboj Mayor Boris Jerinić, who emphasized the importance of the event in promoting the Doboj and Ozren regions. He noted that the support of institutions, including the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management of Republika Srpska, contributes to the further development of the festival and strengthens the area's tourism recognition.
