The third meeting of Banja Luka’s tourism industry, organized by the city’s Tourism Organization, was held on 20 November in the largest city of the Republic of Srpska.
This
gathering is part of a series of regular meetings aimed at strengthening
dialogue between the public and private sectors, with the goal of addressing
current issues and defining key directions for the development of tourism in
the city on the Vrbas River.
This
time, the focus was on event organizers and hospitality businesses, who had the
opportunity to highlight the challenges they face in daily operations and
present proposals and ideas that could help improve Banja Luka’s tourism
offering.
Discussions covered a wide range of topics essential for developing services, content, infrastructure, and promotional activities, as well as the need for better coordination among all stakeholders in the sector.
The
exchange of views during the meeting will serve as a basis for further planning
of activities aimed at strengthening the tourism industry and creating a more
favorable environment for all those working in this field.
Minja
Šurlan, Director of the Banja Luka Tourism Organization, emphasized that the institution
will “take the necessary steps and launch appropriate initiatives to address
the identified challenges as soon as possible, so that together we can
contribute to improving the city’s tourism offer and overall image.”
She

important mechanism for communication and alignment of priorities within Banja
Luka’s tourism sector.
