Director of the Public Institution Tourist Organization of the City of Banjaluka, Minja Kovačević Šurlan, took an active part in the 7th International Congress on Rural Tourism and the 9th European Congress on Rural Tourism, held in Rab, Croatia.
The important international event gathered representatives of tourism organizations, institutions, and experts from across Europe with the aim of exchanging experiences and improving sustainable and rural tourism development.
Krupa na Vrbasu Presented Through the “UN Best Tourism Villages” Project
As part of the congress program, the “UN Best Tourism Villages” project was presented, featuring Krupa na Vrbasu as one of the most beautiful tourist villages in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Krupa na Vrbasu was recognized for its natural beauty, cultural heritage, and authentic tourism offer, making it an increasingly attractive destination for both domestic and international visitors.
Promotion of Banjaluka and Sustainable Tourism
The participation of the Tourist Organization of Banjaluka at this congress represents an important step in promoting Banjaluka and its surroundings as attractive destinations for rural and sustainable tourism.
During the congress, participants discussed the improvement of tourism services, strengthening cooperation between local communities, and developing sustainable tourism models focused on preserving natural and cultural resources.
