With more than 240 exhibitors from both Bosnia and Herzegovina and abroad occupying over 90 exhibition stands, the fair confirmed Sarajevo’s new status as a key meeting point for tourism professionals across the region.

A special spotlight was placed on the partner city – Ulcinj, the gem of the Montenegrin coast. Ulcinj captivated visitors with its authentic culture, rich traditions, and diverse tourist offerings. Other coastal towns from Montenegro also contributed significantly, enriching the overall experience of the event.

The expo featured an extensive accompanying program, including expert lectures, panel discussions, and presentations focused on tourism, marketing, and sustainable development. This created a dynamic platform for the exchange of knowledge, ideas, and professional experience.

One of the highlights was the cultural event "Sevdah Through Time", where attendees enjoyed the enchanting sounds of traditional sevdalinka songs performed by Alma Subašić Omerović.

Additionally, the Old Crafts segment offered a nostalgic look into Bosnia and Herzegovina’s rich artisanal heritage.

Theatrical art also found its place at the fair. Many attendees were drawn to the performance of the Bosnian drama, featuring actors Alena Džebo-Hećo and Mehmed Porča, adding an artistic layer to the expo.

A particularly memorable contribution came from the towns of Travnik and Jajce, which showcased their historical and cultural heritage through traditional costumes, medieval knight battles, performances by majorettes, and a vivid cultural-historical presentation. Their performances continued in the streets of Sarajevo, to the delight of both locals and tourists.

At the closing ceremony, awards were presented to standout participants:

Tourist Board of Jajce and Tourist Board of Travnik – for best promotion of cultural and historical heritage

Planet Sarajevo – for best new tourism product

Tourist Board of Čitluk – for best-designed stand

City of Ulcinj – as the most promising emerging destination

Visitors also had the chance to win valuable travel prizes and gifts, adding further excitement to the experience.

The inaugural TOURISM EXPO SARAJEVO clearly demonstrated its potential to grow into one of the region's most important tourism fairs. It positioned Sarajevo as an essential hub for travel professionals, destination promoters, and tourism enthusiasts from around the world.
