The CIM Forum Kotor is organizing the CIM Vienna – Networking Event, set to take place on April 15, 2026, in Vienna, at Regus Palais (Herrengasse 1–3), located at the entrance of Hofburg—one of Austria’s most significant historical and political landmarks in the heart of the city.
This
event marks an important step in the international positioning of the CIM Forum
and its strategic approach toward the European creative industries market,
particularly in the context of Montenegro’s EU integration process and the
celebration of 20 years of independence.
The
CIM Forum will be held this year from May 28 to 31 in Kotor, while the Vienna
gathering is designed as a prelude to this jubilee edition and as a platform
for developing concrete partnerships between Austria and Montenegro. The focus
of the event is on connecting institutions, the creative sector, and
businesses, as well as creating opportunities for stronger participation of
Austrian organizations and professionals at the CIM Forum in Kotor.
Bringing together professionals from creative industries, marketing, communications, culture, and innovation, the event aims to foster knowledge exchange and strengthen regional and European cooperation.
An additional dimension is provided by the historical connection between Kotor and Vienna, which today finds a modern expression through the creative economy—including the fact that the Creative Hub in Kotor, one of the key CIM Forum venues, is located in a former Austro-Hungarian prison.
Representatives
of the CIM Forum will address attendees, while the institutional segment will
feature members of Montenegro’s diplomatic corps in Austria. Among the
participants is Reanne Leuning, representing ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA and serving as
Deputy Chair of Austria’s Creative Industries Council, focused on developing
international cooperation and connecting Austrian companies and innovation
sectors globally.
Other
notable speakers include Tamara Kramer, founder of the FROM BRAND TO BRAND
studio and former Creative Director at Bitpanda; Wen Liu, founder and artistic
director of M.A.R.S.; Michael Stoeger; and Katarina Stanisavljević, who works
on developing contemporary creative and innovation concepts.
The
program also features Nikola Novaković, as well as Montenegrin artists living
and working in Austria—Petra Radulović and Anela Čindrak.
CIM Vienna represents the beginning of a long-term process of networking and collaboration, with the goal of positioning Kotor and Montenegro as a relevant destination for bringing together creative industries from across the region and Europe.
