MORE THAN 300 PARTICIPANTS SET SAIL ON THE DRINA: FOČA HOSTS THE "DRINA ADVENTURE" REGATTA

More than 300 participants took part in the traditional "Drina Adventure" regatta in Foča, setting sail along one of the most beautiful and cleanest stretches of the Drina River.

The event once again highlighted Foča's status as one of the leading adventure tourism destinations in Republika Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

An 18-Kilometre Journey Along the Upper Drina

The centerpiece of the event is the family-friendly regatta, covering an 18-kilometre route to the "Ušće" Aqua Park in the heart of Foča. Participants enjoyed breathtaking scenery, crystal-clear waters, and the unspoiled beauty of the upper Drina, widely regarded as one of the region's most spectacular rivers.

A Message of Inclusion and Togetherness

This year's edition also carried a strong social message. For the first time, members of the "Tračak Nade" (Ray of Hope) Citizens' Association from Foča, which supports children and young people with developmental disabilities, joined the regatta. Their participation underscored the values of inclusion, solidarity, and equal opportunities for everyone.
