One of the most significant natural gems of Republika Srpska, Rastuša Cave near Teslić, officially opened its new tourist season at the beginning of May, once again welcoming visitors and nature lovers.
The Tourist Organization announced that the seasonal opening hours for the protected natural monument “Rastuša Cave” began on May 7, 2026, while the first school excursions of the year have already been successfully organized.
First Students of the Season Arrived from Derventa
Among the first organized groups to visit Rastuša Cave this year were students from Derventa. During the school excursion, teachers and a total of 123 students had the opportunity to explore this valuable speleological site and gain introductory knowledge about speleology, archaeological findings, and the natural phenomena located within the protected natural monument.
The visit was organized as an educational trip aimed at bringing natural and cultural heritage closer to younger generations.
Rastuša Cave Opening Hours
According to the official schedule, Rastuša Cave is open:
Wednesday from 10 AM to 6 PM,
Thursday from 8 AM to 3 PM,
Friday from 8 AM to 3 PM,
Sunday from 10 AM to 6 PM.
Organized tourist groups can visit the cave every day with prior notice to the Tourist Organization at least 24 hours in advance.

Rastuša Cave is considered one of the most important speleological and tourist attractions in the Teslić area and Republika Srpska. It is known for its rich cave formations, natural decorations, and unique atmosphere that attracts tourists, researchers, and adventure tourism enthusiasts.
