The 17th Janjski Višeboj was ceremonially held in Janj, near Šipovo, bringing together numerous participants and visitors dedicated to preserving the traditions, customs, and spirit of this region.
The opening ceremony was made even more special by renowned Serbian basketball player Darko Miličić, whose family roots are in Janj. With his address, he officially marked the beginning of one of the most important traditional events in this part of Republika Srpska.
The Facebook page Šipovo on line emphasized that it was a particular honor for Miličić to open this year's event, noting that he has never forgotten his homeland and has long supported a manifestation that brings people together while safeguarding the cultural heritage of Janj.
