The Serbian Literary Club “Vihor” from Derventa will present its creative and publishing work at the Homeland Fair, which will be held this weekend in Novi Sad, while also promoting the key characteristics of the city of Derventa and its tourism potential.
Representatives
of “Vihor” announced that they accepted the invitation of the Fund for Refugees
and Displaced Persons and Cooperation with Serbs in the Region to once again
take part in this event, which represents a meeting point of tradition and the
future — a place where roots are preserved, unity is strengthened, and a strong
message of regional connection is sent.
In addition to showcasing its publishing activities, the club will place special emphasis on promoting the cultural events it organizes, as well as highlighting other distinctive features and tourism attractions of Derventa.
“We
will focus not only on our publishing work, but also on promoting the events we
host and the overall tourism potential of our city. We have done this before,
but this year in a more extensive way. We are honored to be given the
opportunity to be part of this year’s Homeland Fair,” said Nenad Simić,
President of the “Vihor” Literary Club.
Simić
also expressed gratitude to the Derventa City Administration and the City
Tourist Organization for their support in enabling the club’s participation at
the fair.
Last
year, “Vihor” marked 30 years of successful work, an anniversary celebrated
with the publication of the monograph “Vihorovih 30”. On Republic of Srpska
Day, the club also officially launched its website, available at www.skkvihor.com.
