The Derventa Cultural Center has unveiled a diverse and exciting lineup of cultural events for November, offering a rich blend of film, theater, and literary programs that will continue into December.
The
month kicked off with screenings of three films — The Smurfs, Gabby’s
Dollhouse, and The Black Phone 2. The stage program began with the play The
House, performed by the National Theatre of the Republic of Srpska, written by
Nebojša Cile Ilić and directed by Nikola Pejaković. The cast included Anđela
Rakočević, Vladimir Đorđević, Željko Stjepanović, and Velimir Blanić.
A book
promotion by Dževad Galijašević is scheduled for November 11. On November 18,
the Derventa Theater — which operates within the Cultural Center — will perform
The Wacky Clowns in the large hall. Two days later, on November 20, the small
hall will host the monodrama Svetozar the Third, performed by Ivan Perković
from Nas Theater.
The literary program continues on November 24 with a conversation featuring renowned author Vanja Bulić. To close out the month, the local theater ensemble will return to the stage with their play Dream Playground on November 27, an event the Center takes special pride in.
The
festive December program will open with the legendary Branko Đurić – Đuro and
his celebrated comedy show Đurologija. Tickets for this highly anticipated
performance are already sold out, according to the Derventa Cultural Center.
In
addition, December will bring the premiere of a New Year’s play performed by
the Center’s own theater group, as well as a special film screening of Hajduk
in Belgrade for local primary and secondary school students.
The
Derventa Cultural Center continues to solidify its reputation as a vibrant hub
of art and culture, offering audiences a rich program that celebrates both
local and regional talent.
