Golubović stated that the Ministry will continue to support such initiatives, as they best showcase the potential of young people.

“We will keep placing great importance on student achievements, competitions, and every form of exchange on educational, pedagogical, and cultural levels,” Golubović told reporters.

He also presented gifts to Trnić and Dobrijević, wishing them continued success, encouraging them to give their best and remain a source of pride for the entire society.

Irina Čavić, director of the “Nikola Tesla” Electrical Engineering School, highlighted the dynamic nature of the electrical engineering field, noting how rapidly it evolves.

“We have decent conditions for practical training, but to keep up with changes and stay current, investments are always welcome,” said Čavić.

Students Trnić and Dobrijević described their participation in the international competition held in Kaluga, Russia – which gathered more than 230 participants from 25 countries – as an incredible experience, one that inspired and motivated them to continue learning and improving.

Professor Dušan Tubić, who, along with his colleague Pajo Jovanović, mentored the students during the competition, emphasized that the Republic of Srpska possesses great potential among its youth and that continuous investment in their education and development is essential.

“Schools should be welcoming places where students are eager to come. Only in that way can we build a strong Republic of Srpska,” said Tubić.

At the competition, Pavle Trnić won first place in the team category and third place individually in the field of electronics.

Dragan Dobrijević secured two second-place awards – both individually and as part of a team – in the field of optoelectronics.
