Members of the Borac Jiu-Jitsu Club from Banja Luka, representing Republika Srpska, achieved outstanding results at the Balkan Championship held in Pitești, Romania.
The competition in Romania, which gathered over 1,200 competitors from 24 countries, saw Borac competing with six athletes, four of whom returned home with medals.
The gold medal was awarded to the most talented competitor, Milica Panić, the silver to Ana Jovičić, while bronze medals were won by Anđela Prskalović and Anđela Muždeka.
Although she trains at the Banja Luka "Borac" club, Anđela Muždeka resides in Šipovo. Anđela never misses training, and in a very short time, she has earned a red belt and numerous medals.
Her determination, desire, perseverance, and genuine love for the sport will conquer all opponents on her path to success.
"Anđela has made her parents and the club proud. We are proud too, even though we don't know her personally. We often collectively take pride in our athletes, clubs, and talented people. But despite their talent, determination, and achievements, they cannot succeed without our support – both moral and financial. You don’t need marketing tricks, promotions, or countless posts when you stand behind the right people and support them. It’s enough to give them a little push, and together, you will win medals. Bravo, Anđela!" – was stated on the Facebook page Šipovo online.
