The "Movember" campaign, dedicated to raising awareness about men’s reproductive health and collecting funds for patients, will culminate on November 29 with a charity party featuring well-known personalities.

"MOVEMBER" CONCLUDES WITH A CELEBRITY PARTY

In the lead-up to the finale, the sale of charity T-shirts will expand to cover all hours of the day.

The conclusion of the local edition of the global "Movember" initiative is scheduled for Friday at the KSET pub in Banja Luka. A day earlier, free portrait photography will be organized at the "Caff Chillout" café near the National Library of RS in Banja Luka. These portraits will later be auctioned off during the final event.

"Just like in previous years, we will start by creating artistic portraits of local moustache enthusiasts, which will then be placed on a charity auction on the campaign's final evening," explains Zoran Šišić, president of the "Superbrke" Citizens' Association, the organizers of "Movember" in the region.

"In addition to the auction, we will also select the 'Filijev Moustache' award for the most beautiful moustache in our city at KSET. Helping us judge will be regional celebrities like Mario Knezović, frontman of the band Zoster, Filip Gačić, creator of the travel blog Putosranje, and last year’s winner Danilo Lužija. Of course, we’re also preparing a DJ party and a night of good company, all to raise as much money as possible for the treatment of Nikola Krehovski (26) and Miloš Blesić (19), two young men battling testicular cancer," the organizers emphasize.

To achieve this goal, the campaign’s final week will feature an expanded sale of the popular "Movember" T-shirts.

From 9 AM to 5 PM, residents of Banja Luka can order T-shirts via the Korpa app and have them delivered directly to their home or workplace. Outside these hours, orders can be placed through the "Movember Banja Luka" Facebook and Instagram pages, with delivery details arranged individually.

"We are doing everything we can in this final week to collect as much money as possible for the treatment of these young men fighting bravely for their future. All of this is carried out by about ten of us volunteers, alongside our regular jobs and personal obligations, in memory of our brother Filip Jakovljević – Fili. We aim to assist where it is needed most and spread an important message about men’s health. We hope our fellow citizens will recognize this effort once again this year and support Movember by purchasing T-shirts or attending the finale, where part of the proceeds from beverage sales will also be allocated to our campaign," adds Šišić.

A promotional event for "Movember" has already been held in Prijedor, with another gathering planned in Prnjavor.

Throughout November, a series of workshops, lectures, and other activities were organized to promote awareness of men’s health and raise funds for patient treatment.
