Banja Luka is on its way to becoming the first city in Bosnia and Herzegovina to host a Center for Cultural and Creative Industries, emphasized Milada Šukalo, project manager of the City of Banja Luka.
"I am proud to have the opportunity, together with the City Administration delegation, to visit English cities recognized as hubs of creative industries and rapid development," Šukalo said.
She added, "It is inspiring to see how ideas become reality and how creativity drives the economy."
Šukalo highlighted that the experiences they observed in England further strengthen Banja Luka’s vision as a city that offers young people the opportunity to develop the industry of the future, with a special focus on creative industries.
"What I have seen here encourages me even more – the creations of young people being actively applied in the real sector. I am confident that this model is not only possible but also fully applicable in our city. It is time for creativity to have the space it deserves," Šukalo concluded.
During the visit to English cities, local authorities had the chance to explore successful examples of creative industry centers and gain insights that will be applied to the development of Banja Luka.
