"Piralo" offers accommodation in four identical bungalows, primarily constructed from wood to blend seamlessly with the natural surroundings. Each apartment is equipped with two bedrooms, a bathroom, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen, and a terrace, ensuring a comfortable stay for guests. "The ambiance is designed to provide a pleasant experience amidst nature, with views overlooking the Una," Agarević noted.
Besides lodging, "Piralo" offers a variety of activities, including kayaking, canoeing, tourist trails, and local cuisine. Plans are underway to expand the facilities, including the construction of a luxury hotel with 20 beds, additional bungalows, and a semi-Olympic swimming pool. These enhancements aim to further attract international tourists, who are the primary clientele.
Agarević revealed that while the summer season is particularly appealing due to the river, the center sees a steady flow of guests year-round from over 50 countries across all continents.
"During New Year's, all units were booked, with a group of 12 from Banja Luka, and I had to turn down requests from Istria as we were fully occupied," he stated.
The expansion plans include more than just physical enhancements; they aim to introduce additional sports and recreational activities, including fishing, to further enrich the guest experience. "The goal isn't just financial profit but to create a beautiful tourism story in Kostajnica," Agarević added, mentioning that his investment has been supported by a grant from the Ministry of Trade and Tourism of the Republic of Srpska in 2014.
