During the three-day festival, audiences will have the opportunity to watch three carefully selected Japanese films that authentically and contemporarily portray social, cultural, and personal themes of present-day Japan.

The films offer a unique insight into Japanese society from various perspectives, combining artistic expression with universal life issues and emotions.

The Japanese Film Festival represents a rare opportunity for local audiences to become acquainted with modern Japanese cinema, its aesthetic values, and distinctive narrative styles, while also gaining a deeper understanding of the everyday life, challenges, and sensibilities of contemporary Japanese society.

This cultural event further enriches the cultural scene of the city on the Vrbas River and strengthens international cultural cooperation. Organizers invite all film enthusiasts, students, and citizens to attend the screenings and enjoy a truly unique cinematic experience.
