BAND "SOPOT" AND THE STRING ORCHESTRA WITH GUESTS PERFORM AT THE NATIONAL THEATRE OF REPUBLIKA SRPSKA

The National Theatre of Republika Srpska proudly announces a major concert by the Banja Luka–based band Sopot, performing together with the String Orchestra of the National Theatre of Republika Srpska, on February 8 on the Main Stage, starting at 8:00 PM.

Special guests of the evening will be Arsen Čarkić and Albert Bojan Savić, whose performances will further enrich this unique musical event.

Following their highly successful collaboration and joint performance marking the Orthodox New Year in Novi Sad in 2024, Sopot and the String Orchestra of the National Theatre of Republika Srpska continue their artistic dialogue with a concert that promises a powerful, emotional, and lavishly produced musical experience.

This time, the audience will have the opportunity to hear the promotion of Sopot’s fourth studio album, “Echo of an Uncertain Outcome”, featuring nine original compositions created during the pandemic and the period that followed — a time marked by introspection, silence, and strong creative energy.

In addition to new material, the concert will revive some of Sopot’s most recognizable hits, presented in a completely new orchestral arrangement, giving the event an additional dimension and a distinctive sonic identity.

With more than 300 live performances, European tours, and extensive experience in composing original music for theatre productions, film, and television, Sopot delivers a concert that goes beyond the classic music format. This performance represents a special encounter between stage and concert expression — a fusion of contemporary original sound and the power of orchestral interpretation, in a venue that truly breathes art.
