GOLDEN SEMBERIJA FISH STEW COMPETITION BRINGS TOGETHER FOOD LOVERS IN DVOROVI

Fans of traditional fish stew, great food and a friendly atmosphere will gather on August 22 for the Golden Semberija Fish Stew Competition 2026, a popular gastronomic event taking place in Banja Dvorovi and organized by the Bijeljina City Tourist Organization.

Held annually, the event attracts numerous competing teams and visitors from across the region. Its main goal is to select the best fish stew while promoting the rich culinary heritage of Semberija and offering participants an enjoyable day in the natural surroundings of Banja Dvorovi.

According to the event schedule, competitors will prepare their cooking areas from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Team registration, distribution of competition rules, T-shirts and fish will take place between 11:00 a.m. and noon, when the official cooking preparations will begin.

The competition officially starts at 12:00 p.m., while prepared samples will be submitted for judging at 5:00 p.m. A professional jury will evaluate the dishes over the following hour, with the winners announced during the closing ceremony at 6:00 p.m.

Organizers invite all lovers of traditional cuisine, outdoor gatherings and friendly competition to assemble their teams, bring their best recipes and enjoy another edition of the Golden Semberija Fish Stew Competition.
