Banja Luka continues to attract tourists in October, with the largest city in the Republic of Srpska increasingly becoming a destination of choice for organised visits from Serbia, including school trips.
These arrivals highlight the importance of ongoing tourism
promotion and cooperation with travel agencies and partners from Serbia.
According to the Banja Luka Tourist Organization, continuous
promotional activities aimed at showcasing the city’s tourism offer and
strengthening ties with Serbia’s tourism sector play an important role in
attracting organised groups.
Previous study visits organised for travel agency
representatives and school principals have also contributed to this effort.
During these visits, participants had the opportunity to explore the city’s
attractions, tourism facilities and opportunities for organising group visits.
AN ATTRACTIVE DESTINATION FOR SCHOOL TRIPS
Through continued destination promotion and the development
of partnerships, Banja Luka is further strengthening its position among cities
that attract organised tourist groups.
Interest in school trips is particularly significant, as
these visits provide younger generations with an opportunity to discover the
city’s cultural, historical and natural heritage, while experiencing its
atmosphere and hospitality.
Continued promotional efforts and cooperation with travel
agencies could further increase the number of organised visits and strengthen
Banja Luka’s position on the Serbian tourism market.
