The company Željeznice Republike Srpske hosted the international tourist train “ZRT” from Switzerland as part of a tour across southeastern Europe.
A locomotive operated by Željeznice Republike Srpske transported the Swiss train composition, consisting of four passenger carriages and a restaurant car carrying around 80 passengers, through the territory of Republika Srpska. The route stretched from Volinja in Croatia, via Dobrljin, Novi Grad, Doboj and Banja Luka.
According to representatives of the railway company, the arrival of the Swiss tourist train confirmed that Željeznice Republike Srpske is recognized as a reliable and important partner on the European map of attractive tourist destinations.
“The
visit demonstrated the readiness and capabilities of the railway
infrastructure, as well as the professional approach of railway staff in
meeting the high standards required by international operators,” the company
stated.
