GRADIŠKA – With the arrival of the first official days of summer and soaring temperatures, Lubinski Quay in the village of Grbavci near Gradiška has once again become a favorite destination for those seeking refreshment and an escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.
The
Lubina River is once again clean, well-maintained, and ready to welcome its
first swimmers, day-trippers, and nature lovers. Surrounded by lush greenery
and a peaceful atmosphere, the area offers an ideal setting for relaxation
during the hot summer months.
In
addition to its natural beauty, visitors can enjoy a well-equipped hospitality
facility that provides everything needed for a pleasant weekend getaway or a
relaxing break during the working week.
Guests
can savor traditional grilled specialties and homemade dishes, make use of
sports courts, and even stay overnight in a nearby bungalow designed for
accommodation.
"We are here every day with excellent barbecue, homemade food, and cold drinks. Our location is also an ideal starting point for exploring the area, as visitors can combine their stay at Lubinski Quay with trips to the nearby Karanovac Monastery and Kozara Mountain," said host Bojan Blagojević.
Although
the Lubina River is currently shallow in this section, it has not stopped the
youngest visitors from enjoying summer activities. Children gather at the
swimming area every day, while additional works aimed at improving the riverbed
are also planned.
According
to Blagojević, plans are underway to create a deeper swimming area that would
provide even better conditions for adult swimmers, although the current water
level is already sufficient for cooling off during the hottest days of the
year.
Besides
swimming and relaxing by the barbecue, Lubinski Quay will also become a social
hub throughout July and August. Several open-air music performances are
scheduled for late July, promising to add a special atmosphere to warm summer
evenings in this picturesque corner near Gradiška.
