OGNJEN MIĆOVIĆ AND DARIJA VUČKO VOTED MOST POPULAR ACTING COUPLE OF THE YEAR

The love story of Luka and Darija from the TV series Tvrđava has won over audiences, with actors Ognjen Mićović and Darija Vučko voted the most popular acting couple of the year at the FEDIS Drama and TV Series Festival.

Mićović, who plays Luka Baša, and Vučko, who portrays Darija Tolj, captivated viewers with a love story set against the backdrop of major historical upheavals in the early 1990s.

Love Amid Historical Turmoil

Their characters meet in Knin – Luka is Serbian and Darija is Croatian – and their relationship develops at a time when dramatic historical events have a profound impact on people's lives.

Despite numerous obstacles, Luka and Darija try to preserve their relationship, which eventually grows into marriage and becomes one of the central storylines of Tvrđava.

The Audience Chose the Winners

The “Golden Antenna” for the most popular acting couple of the year is an audience award, meaning the winners were chosen by viewers rather than a jury.

FEDIS is dedicated to domestic and regional television productions, and since 2023 its official competition has also included TV series from Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and North Macedonia.

This year's vote for the acting couple of the year was organized for the first time in cooperation with the Ona.rs portal and attracted significant audience interest.

Award Ceremony in October

The victory of Ognjen Mićović and Darija Vučko will be officially celebrated during the closing night of the 16th FEDIS Drama and TV Series Festival, which will take place from October 6 to 8 at the Belgrade Youth Center.
