FROM EUROPEAN STAGES TO HER HOMETOWN: JOVANA RALJIĆ BRINGS VIVALDI TO BANJALUKA

Banjaluka-born violinist Jovana Raljić, who is building her international career in Vienna, will perform as a soloist with the String Orchestra of the National Theatre of Republika Srpska.

The concert presents Antonio Vivaldi’s famous “The Four Seasons” through a multimedia combination of music, spoken word and video projections, with Dušan V. Urošević conducting the orchestra.

Raljić has spent more than a decade building an international career, performing with orchestras and ensembles across Europe. Her recent engagements include a solo appearance with the Hofburg Orchestra in Vienna and a performance in Belgium as a guest concertmaster with Opera Ballet Vlaanderen.

Following her Banjaluka performance, she is set to continue her international engagements in Geneva and Luxembourg, while a performance in China is also planned.

For Raljić, performing in her hometown has special significance, offering an opportunity to share the experience gained on major European stages with the audience in the city where she took her first artistic steps.

The multimedia interpretation of “The Four Seasons” combines Baroque tradition with a contemporary approach, allowing audiences to experience Vivaldi’s masterpiece through sound, words and images.
