The Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in Mostar is open for visits, and within the temple complex there is also a shop for souvenirs and church products.
In the courtyard of the Cathedral, the Old Church of the
Nativity of the Blessed Virgin from the 16th century is worth mentioning and
visiting.
In the immediate vicinity are the Prosvjetina school, opened in 1856, as well as the Orthodox cemetery of Bjelušine, where many famous residents of Mostar are buried, including the famous poet Aleksa Šantić.
On Easter this year, the Easter liturgy was held in the
Mostar church, built after the demolition of the place of worship in 1992.
Once the largest place of worship in the Balkans, which is a
symbol of Mostar along with the Old Bridge, after almost three decades of
waiting for reconstruction, a few years ago, it shone in its recognizable, and
new, outfit and captures the attention of citizens and tourists who visit the
city on the Neretva.
