Spa tourism continues to gain momentum in Republika Srpska, attracting an increasing number of visitors each year. Among the destinations benefiting from this trend is Banja Kulaši, a renowned health and rehabilitation center known for its therapeutic treatments and comprehensive medical programs.
Speaking
to RTRS, Aleksandra Trivić, a specialist in physical medicine and
rehabilitation and head of the medical department at the Health and Tourism
Center Banja Kulaši, highlighted the profile of the resort’s most frequent
guests and the ongoing efforts to enhance its services.
According
to Trivić, the majority of patients arrive through the Pension and Disability
Insurance Fund referral program.
“The
largest group of our patients are those suffering from spinal conditions where
surgery is not recommended, as well as people dealing with skin disorders such
as psoriasis and various rheumatological diseases,” she said.
Banja Kulaši also provides treatment and rehabilitation for a wide range of other medical conditions.
“We
welcome patients recovering from surgical procedures, individuals with
neurological disorders, and people undergoing rehabilitation after strokes. We
also treat children with cerebral palsy, wheelchair users, and amputees,”
Trivić explained.
In
addition to medical patients, the spa attracts visitors seeking relaxation and
recreation. However, many of them ultimately decide to take advantage of the
specialized health programs available at the center.
“Every
guest who comes for recreational purposes eventually chooses one of the medical
programs we offer. Our range of services is diverse, interest remains strong,
and we are very satisfied with the demand,” Trivić noted.
With a
combination of healthcare, rehabilitation, wellness services, and continuous
improvements to its offer, Banja Kulaši is strengthening its reputation as one
of the leading spa tourism destinations in Republika Srpska, drawing both
domestic and international visitors in search of recovery and relaxation.
