LEGENDARY YU GRUPA TO PERFORM IN DERVENTA

Derventa will host one of the longest-running and most influential rock bands from the former Yugoslavia on August 15, as legendary YU Grupa takes the stage at Trg oslobođenja.

Founded in 1970, YU Grupa has spent more than five decades writing the history of regional rock music, remaining true to its distinctive sound and musical identity throughout its long career.

Songs such as “Crni leptir,” “Od zlata jabuka,” “Kosovski božuri,” “Mornar” and many others have achieved cult status and continue to be passed down from one generation to another.

Brothers Dragi and Žika Jelić, the band's founders, are among the few musicians in the region who continue to actively perform in front of audiences more than 55 years after the group was established.

Their energy on stage continues to impress audiences, while YU Grupa's concerts are renowned for their outstanding atmosphere and powerful live performances.

The concert in Derventa will give older generations an opportunity to relive the spirit of the golden age of rock music, while younger audiences will have the chance to experience live the band that has left an indelible mark on the regional music scene.

The concert of the legendary band in Derventa is scheduled to begin at 9 p.m.
