Muzej Republike Srpske will once again join the celebration of the European Night of Museums, an event that has been bringing together lovers of culture, art and history across Europe for the past 21 years.
Visitors in Banja Luka will enjoy a rich and diverse programme on May 23, designed for all generations, while all activities, as well as museum admission, will be completely free throughout the day until 10 p.m.
The
programme will begin at 5 p.m. with a creative workshop for younger children,
while the “Museum Treasure Hunt” for the whole family is scheduled for 5:30
p.m. Visitors will have the opportunity to search for mysterious exhibits,
photograph them and win interesting prizes.
Special attention is expected to be drawn by the interactive museum programme, open from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., where visitors will be able to see and try replicas of medieval knight weapons and equipment.
At 6
p.m., a knight battle performance will be held on the plateau in front of the
Museum of Republika Srpska, while the musical part of the evening will continue
with a concert by the City Tamburitza Orchestra starting at 7 p.m.
During
the event, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., visitors will also be able to use a photo
booth and take home free photographs as souvenirs from the manifestation.
This
year’s European Night of Museums once again offers families, children and all
culture enthusiasts the opportunity to spend an unforgettable evening filled
with entertainment, education and unique experiences in the inspiring
atmosphere of the Museum of Republika Srpska.
