The “Velika Greda” rural household on Manjača Mountain is preparing a special gastronomic experience for all lovers of traditional cuisine, nature, and relaxation far from the city crowds at the end of May.
According to information shared on their
social media pages, the event titled “Weekend on Manjača” will take place on
May 30 and 31 at around 1,000 meters above sea level, surrounded by the
untouched nature for which this area is widely known.
Visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy a
complete menu priced at 38 KM, featuring several carefully selected homemade
specialties.
As part of the cold appetizer, guests will be served warm homemade fritters accompanied by a traditional platter of cured meat products and local cheeses. The warm starter includes a creamy mushroom soup, while the main course features sous-vide chicken schnitzel in kajmak sauce served with mashed potatoes.
For dessert, organizers have prepared a
chocolate carrot cake as the perfect sweet ending to the meal.
Representatives of “Velika Greda” emphasize
that the event combines authentic local gastronomy, a natural mountain setting,
and relaxation, making it an ideal opportunity for visitors to escape the city
and spend a peaceful weekend in the beautiful surroundings of Manjača Mountain.
