During the meeting with Rogatica Mayor Ninoslav Prelić, Prime Minister Višković emphasized that the Government will back the construction of the factory with financial support amounting to 500,000 KM. In its initial phase, the facility will produce semi-finished products.

“Our goal, however, is to eventually equip the facility to produce final products—frozen potatoes—which would permanently resolve the issue of market surpluses and open new prospects for the region's economic growth,” Višković said, as reported by eKapija.

Višković also announced that the Government will continue to support other developmental and infrastructure projects in the Rogatica area. These include the continuation of construction work on the already-started sports hall, as well as efforts by the local government to revive production in the former water purifier factory.

The meeting also touched on the construction of a city marketplace and the establishment of a municipal court in Rogatica.

In addition, Prime Minister Višković expressed support for the municipality’s plans to develop tourism-related projects, including the construction of a tourist village on the Borike plateau.

Mayor Prelić presented the Prime Minister with an overview of all planned projects and expressed his gratitude to the Government of Republika Srpska for its continued support.
