OES AI DRIVE AND SHAPE THE ENERGY FUTURE OF THE REGION?

Under the slogan “AI Drives and Shapes the Energy Future of the Region,” the seventh edition of the SET Trebinje 2026 will take place in Trebinje from March 25 to 27, 2026.

OES AI DRIVE AND SHAPE THE ENERGY FUTURE OF THE REGION?

As announced by the organizers, this prestigious regional gathering will bring together leading energy experts, institutional representatives, decision-makers, investors, and companies from across Southeast Europe. Over the years, SET Trebinje has become recognized as one of the most important regional platforms for dialogue on energy transition, investment opportunities, and technological innovation.

The summit is being organized with the support of MH Elektroprivreda Republike Srpske, the City of Trebinje, the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Government of the Republic of Srpska, and the Ministry of Energy and Mining of the Republic of Srpska. The event is held under the general sponsorship of ELNOS Group, along with numerous partners and friends of the summit.

Focus on AI, Renewables, the Market, and a New Energy Reality

This year’s program, hosted at the Cultural Center in Trebinje, will feature three days of intensive panel discussions and expert presentations. Special emphasis will be placed on the application of artificial intelligence in the energy sector and the digitalization of power systems, investments in renewable energy sources and the growing competition for grid capacity, as well as electricity market development, power exchange integration, and PPA models.

Participants will also discuss the impact of the CBAM mechanism on the energy sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the wider region. Additional topics include grid modernization, smart systems, flexibility solutions, and the role of geothermal and nuclear energy in the future energy mix.

SET Trebinje 2026 will address key questions of energy stability, sustainability, and competitiveness in the Western Balkans as the region moves toward a low-carbon economy. The event once again confirms that Trebinje is becoming a central meeting point for the most important discussions on the region’s energy future.

Beyond the official agenda, attendees can expect numerous networking events, an After Party, and the traditional “Herzegovinian Evening,” further highlighting that SET is much more than a professional conference — it is a place where ideas, capital, and strategic decisions come together.

Organizers invite all interested stakeholders not to miss the opportunity to be part of an event that is shaping the energy future of the region.
