BANJALUKA RESIDENTS RETURN FROM SWEDEN AND LAUNCH A TOURISM BUSINESS

Banja Luka residents who returned to their hometown after living and working in Sweden have decided to put their knowledge and experience towards developing tourism and starting their own business.

Minja Šurlan, Director of the Banja Luka Tourist Organization, met with representatives of MoreAdventureBL, returning residents from Sweden who had previously worked in the tourism sector.

They now want to bring the experience they gained in Sweden back to Banja Luka and contribute to expanding the city’s tourism offer by developing new tourism products and their own business.

PLANS FOR NEW TOURISM CONTENT

The meeting focused on their plans, ideas and investment opportunities, as well as tourism regulations and procedures, tourists’ needs and current market opportunities.

It is particularly encouraging to see experience gained abroad returning to the local community, where it can help create new business opportunities and contribute to the further development of tourism.
