For two decades, the “Dječije carstvo”
festival has been dedicated to nurturing children’s literature, creativity, and
a love for the written word. The event is held under the patronage of the Grad
Banjaluka and is included in the official Calendar of Cultural Events of Banja
Luka, the largest city in the Republika Srpska.
Organizers from KultArt encouraged young poets to apply and represent their city and country on the regional stage.
“We invite young poets and literary talents
from Banja Luka to respond to the call and proudly represent Banja Luka,
Republika Srpska, and Bosnia and Herzegovina in a poetic exchange with their
peers from across the region,” the organizers stated.
The festival continues to serve as an
important platform for young voices, offering children the opportunity to express
their creativity and connect through poetry beyond borders.
