News of an outstanding international success has arrived from Brod, where young and talented singer Staška Milošević achieved remarkable recognition on the global stage. She won second place at the 9th International Festival Golden Voice Malta 2026, competing in the highly demanding category for children aged 11 and 12.
The
competition gathered more than 150 participants from 22 countries, while the
winners were selected by a professional jury composed of 18 judges from 14
different nations—making Staška’s achievement even more impressive.
Following this major success, Staška’s parents, Ranka Milošević and Željko Milošević, expressed their pride and gratitude to everyone who supported their daughter on her journey.
“We
would like to thank, alongside our Staška who puts tremendous effort into her
work, the Mayor of Brod, Milan Zečević, who recognized her talent and supported
her participation in such an important competition. We are also grateful to her
singing teacher, Anica Zrilić, who has played a key role in her professional
development. Special thanks go to Primary School Sveti Sava Brod for their
understanding and approved absence, as well as to the Guitar School Brod, where
Staška took her first musical steps,” they said.
While
this achievement marks a significant milestone, it is only the beginning of
Staška’s international journey. During her stay in Malta, she received a
special invitation—reserved for top performers—to represent her country at the
prestigious international pop singing competition Amber Voice Riga 2026, which
will be held in Riga next year.
With
new challenges ahead, this young star from Brod continues to shine ever
brighter on the world stage.
