KENAN MAHMUTAGIĆ, A YOUNG PROGRAMMER FROM GRADIŠKA, IS MAKING WAVES IN THE IT SCENE WITH NEW APPS

Mobile app development, digital marketing, and social media management are part of the daily routine of 22-year-old programmer Kenan Mahmutagić from Gradiška.

The young IT professional works on projects similar to those developed by modern tech companies worldwide, viewing artificial intelligence as a powerful tool that improves and simplifies his work.

Kenan’s talent was recognized during his high school years, when he won his first awards. Since then, his career has followed an upward path, driven by passion for technology, knowledge, discipline, and strong dedication.

Artificial Intelligence as a Tool, Not a Replacement

According to Mahmutagić, artificial intelligence has great potential but also clear limits.

“I use artificial intelligence for positive purposes — it is a powerful tool for my work. In the coming years, AI will enter many areas of life. However, it should never be used at the expense of human intelligence. We must clearly distinguish its positive aspects from the harmful ones,” says Mahmutagić.

Even so, many of his projects were created primarily through his own knowledge and creativity, resulting in applications that already have practical value and are helping users.

From “Digital Farmer” to the Horror Game “Drekavac”

Among his best-known projects are the apps “Digital Farmer,” “Bite Snap,” designed for calorie tracking, and “Foto Plant.” As he explains, he is currently preparing around ten new applications that he plans to launch this year.

According to Mahmutagić, special attention could be drawn to the horror game “Drekavac,” inspired by mythology from the Lijevče polje region.

“I plan to significantly expand my small company, Monotik Group, and help young people achieve their first concrete results in the industry,” he says.

Focused on Work, but Also on Life Values

Although fully dedicated to his career, the young programmer emphasizes that in some areas of life he cannot rely on technology, but rather on honesty and personal values.

“The right girl will appreciate what I do and understand my dedication to work. I should support her, and she should support me — that’s the essence of everything,” Mahmutagić says with a smile.

Recognized Beyond the Local Community

His work has already attracted attention from IT managers and professionals across the region, who are offering collaborations and following his future plans. Despite this, Kenan remains calm and focused, believing that the right business opportunities will come at the right time.

He especially highlights the support he receives from friends, colleagues, business partners, and family, who, as he says, give him the wind at his back on his path toward new successes.
