TIJANA BOŠKOVIĆ'S SIGNED JERSEY UP FOR AUCTION TO HELP CHILDREN IN BILEĆA

One of the world's top volleyball players, Tijana Bošković, has once again demonstrated her commitment to humanitarian causes by donating a signed Serbia national team jersey for an auction aimed at raising funds for the "Vedar osmijeh" Association of Parents and Friends of Children and Young People with Developmental Difficulties in Bileća.

The online auction was organised by the Association of Bileća Natives in Serbia, with the funds raised to be used to renovate and equip the association's facilities, as well as to purchase a minibus to transport children to therapy sessions and recreational trips.

Dajana Aleksić from the Association of Bileća Natives said that Bošković responded to the initiative without hesitation.

"Tijana is always there when help is needed for Bileća and its residents. She has demonstrated this many times before, and she is showing it once again today," Aleksić said.

The auction opened with a symbolic starting price of 100 euros, while by the third day the highest bid had reached 650 euros.

The auction will remain open until August 16, with each new bid required to be at least 10 euros higher than the previous one.

The humanitarian campaign has also attracted attention beyond the region, with the European Volleyball Confederation publishing information about the auction on its official website.

The "Vedar osmijeh" Association currently brings together around 60 beneficiaries. In addition to funds for renovating its premises and purchasing a minibus, the association also needs equipment for a sensory room designed for children with developmental difficulties.

Those wishing to support the initiative can make donations to the association's official bank accounts or call humanitarian number 1433, with each call contributing one convertible mark.
