Kokanović covered an incredible 336 kilometers through the Italian Alps in 149 hours, 26 minutes and 38 seconds.

The race takes place in Italy’s Aosta Valley, following a spectacular route beneath four famous Alpine peaks rising above 4,000 meters – Mont Blanc, the Matterhorn, Monte Rosa and Gran Paradiso.

Starting and finishing in Courmayeur, this year’s race was held from September 13 to 19.

Only two runners from Bosnia and Herzegovina entered the event. Željko Vujić was forced to withdraw after 150 kilometers due to severe blisters, while Kokanović continued all the way to the finish line.

After almost six days and 336 kilometers in the Alps, the Bijeljina runner completed an extraordinary test of physical and mental endurance.
