SPECTACULAR WEEKEND IN BANJALUKA: FESTIVALS, CONCERTS AND BRIDGE DIVING

Banjaluka is set for another exciting summer weekend, with a packed schedule of events as part of the "Banjalučko Ljeto" (Banjaluka Summer) and "Ljeto na Vrbasu" (Summer on the Vrbas) festivals, along with numerous other city-supported activities. Residents and visitors alike will have the opportunity to enjoy festivals, concerts, sports competitions, recreational programs and entertainment for all generations.

The weekend begins with the Riverside Festival, taking place on July 10 and 11 along the banks of the Vrbas River, below the historic Kastel Fortress. The opening night will feature a performance by Banjaluka musician Bojan Čikić, who is celebrating 25 years of his music career, while the second evening is reserved for the Riverside White Night Party, featuring electronic music and an all-white dress code.

Wine Festival and Serbian Folklore Festival

On Saturday, July 11, starting at 7 p.m., the Wine Festival will be held at the Stone House within Kastel Fortress, bringing together wineries and wine enthusiasts for tastings and an accompanying entertainment program.

Later that evening, Banjaluka will also host the Serbian Folklore Festival, with the main event being a concert by traditional folk ensembles on Kastel's summer stage, beginning at 9 p.m.

Games Without Borders and Bridge Diving

Sports and recreation enthusiasts can take part in the Games Without Borders, a fun competition for all ages that will be held at Akvana from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday.

On Sunday, July 12, starting at 5 p.m., visitors can enjoy the traditional Bridge Diving Competition from the City Bridge, one of the most popular attractions of the Summer on the Vrbas festival.

Free Activities Throughout the Summer

The City of Banjaluka also continues to organize free yoga, fitness and dance classes, as well as special recreational programs for senior citizens held every Tuesday and Thursday.

With its diverse mix of cultural, tourist, sports and recreational events, Banjaluka once again confirms its reputation as one of the region's most attractive summer destinations.
