This year’s edition of the Freshwave Festival has officially completed its artist lineup with the addition of two major names from the global electronic music scene – German live performer Recondite and influential DJ and producer Patrice Bäumel.
With
these latest announcements, the festival has rounded off an impressive and
genre-diverse lineup of artists set to perform at Kastel Fortress in Banja
Luka, confirming Freshwave once again as one of the strongest festival
programmes in the region.
German
artist Recondite will bring his distinctive and meticulously crafted live
performance to Banja Luka, a format that has earned him international
recognition. Over the past decade, he has developed a unique sonic signature
combining melodic tones, subtle electronic elements and a distinctive
atmospheric sound. He is known for releases on influential labels such as
Innervisions, Ghostly and his own Plangent Records.
His
live performances are widely regarded as emotional musical journeys that are
not strictly planned in advance, but instead evolve and adapt directly to the
energy and reactions of the audience.
Meanwhile,
Patrice Bäumel, one of the most respected figures on Amsterdam’s club scene, is
known for his infectious energy and distinctive sound. His releases on
prestigious labels including Afterlife, Kompakt and Get Physical regularly
feature in the sets of leading international artists, while his performance at
Kastel Fortress promises a top-class open-air club experience.
A DIVERSE LINEUP OF GLOBAL, REGIONAL AND LOCAL ARTISTS
With
the artist selection now complete, the full lineup for this year’s festival
brings together leading names from the global electronic scene, major regional
live acts and a strong local presence.
In
addition to the latest additions, the main stages will feature international
stars including Coeus, Denis Sulta, Fiona Kraft, Sam Paganini and Sébastien
Léger.
Fans
of harder electronic sounds and the regional club scene can look forward to
performances by Mene, Mladen Tomić, Nebs Jack and Siniša Tamamović, while the
live music programme will feature a powerful regional lineup including Buč
Kesidi, Elemental, Grše, Let 3, Vojko V, Z++ and Zoster.
The
rich festival programme will also feature numerous domestic and regional
artists, including Coa, De Funk, Doel, Fratello, Hototo, Ice Axe, Ivan Z,
Ladjarsky, Jan Frost, Luka Cikić, Machado, Mekhu, Milensi, Milhøuse, Naab,
Nigel, Red Nine, Rikaya, S.A.B.R.I, Stefan Ivanković, Tara Bluu, Vahicabi and
Vuk Vukosavljević.

TICKETS AND SPECIAL 3+1 PACKAGES
Various
ticket packages for this year’s festival spectacle at Kastel Fortress are
already on sale, with tickets available through kupikartu.ba.
A
regular festival ticket costs 75 KM, while a VIP festival ticket is priced at
120 KM. The On Stage festival ticket costs 200 KM.
Organisers
have also introduced special group benefits through a “3+1” promotion. The 3+1
Regular package for four people costs 225 KM, the 3+1 VIP package is priced at
360 KM, while the 3+1 On Stage package costs 600 KM.
With
an impressive combination of global electronic stars, influential DJs, regional
live acts and leading local artists, this year’s Freshwave Festival is set to
deliver another major music spectacle at the historic Kastel Fortress in Banja
Luka.
