The southernmost part of Republika Srpska has been flooded with tourists. Many say the extended May Day holiday weekend is best spent in warm and sunny destinations.
In Trebinje, it is hard to find a free seat in cafés and restaurants, while accommodation capacities have long been fully booked. This is a clear sign that another successful tourist season is on the way.
Buses full of visitors are arriving, and the streets are crowded with people eager to experience the charm of the southernmost city of Republika Srpska.
Enjoying coffee and socializing, taking selfies, walking with maps in hand, and smiling faces—these are just some of the moments that will make this year’s May Day holidays memorable for many.
Trebinje has once again proven to be the number one holiday destination for tourists in the region.
“You can find only three or four available accommodations in Trebinje, and those are outside the city. As for the program, on May 2 the third Wine Fine Festival will open, gathering a record number of participants,” said Jovica Milošević, Director of the Tourist Organization.
These days, the city is truly alive. Starting tomorrow, the third “Wine Fine Trebinje 2026” festival will begin, offering a special experience for lovers of wine and gastronomy.
