Through the “m:tel Sports Day” program, primary school students will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of sporting competitions, entertainment activities, and social events designed to promote friendship, fair play, tolerance, and a healthy lifestyle.

The event will officially begin at 10:00 a.m. at Liberation Square with an opening ceremony, followed by the traditional lighting of the Plazma Youth Sports Games flame and an exhibition race. The competitive part of the program is scheduled to start at 11:00 a.m.

Young participants will compete in two disciplines: the “Chupa Chups 60-Meter Race” and the popular m:tel CUP in dodgeball, a competition that attracts thousands of children across Bosnia and Herzegovina every year.

The sports celebration in Derventa will continue throughout the afternoon with games, social activities, and the promotion of the values that the Plazma Youth Sports Games have fostered for the past sixteen seasons. Starting at 1:00 p.m., the Sports Hall will host the Sprite CUP basketball tournament for girls and boys who share a passion for the sport.

Derventa also marks the final stop of this year’s Games tour. Following the local competitions, the most successful participants from communities across Bosnia and Herzegovina will qualify for the Grand Final in Sarajevo, where they will represent their hometowns and compete for championship titles.

For sixteen seasons, the Plazma Youth Sports Games have provided children with opportunities to engage in sports, develop teamwork skills, and create lasting friendships, making the event one of the most important youth sporting initiatives in the region.
