As part of its Ninth “Christmas Campaign,” the Delije Foundation will host the theatrical performance “Ko Kamen – Velenka Brstinova and Her Daughter Dragana” on January 11, 2026, at the Jazavac City Theatre in Banja Luka. The play will be performed by renowned actress Ljiljana Čekić.

“KO KAMEN” – VELENKA BRSTINOVA AND HER DAUGHTER DRAGANA AS PART OF THE DELIJE CHRISTMAS CAMPAIGN

The performance tells a powerful and emotional story about the massacred Serbs of Herzegovina during 1941 and 1944, as well as the suffering of Sarajevo Serbs who, in 1996, were forced to leave their ancestral homes, carrying with them the exhumed remains of their fallen heroes and heading into the unknown.

The play will begin at 6:00 PM. Prior to the performance, visitors will have the opportunity to meet veterans of elite military units of the First Krajina Corps of the Army of Republika Srpska, who will address the audience.

Ticket prices are set at 20 KM and can be purchased at the “Mariner” café bar, the “Riznica” bookstore, or on the day of the performance at the Jazavac City Theatre.

All funds raised through this event will be directed toward providing assistance to war military invalids of the Army of Republika Srpska, as well as Serbian families living in Kosovo and Metohija.

The Delije Foundation was established in Belgrade in 2013 with the mission of organizing and implementing humanitarian actions and projects, supporting impoverished families, religious sanctuaries, public kitchens, and providing continuous assistance to Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija.

Since 2018, the Delije Foundation has been organizing charitable events and donation drives in Republika Srpska under the name “Christmas Campaign.” Over the past eight years, a total of 340,257 KM has been collected. These funds have been used to support more than 350 families of war military invalids of the Army of Republika Srpska, to build and renovate numerous churches and monasteries in Republika Srpska, the Knin Krajina, and Kosovo and Metohija, as well as to assist Serbian families in Kosovo and Metohija.
